OUR MISSION
The Half Act Theatre Company began as a way to get local students involved with theater and has since grown to be an organization dedicated to making theater education available to students across the Hermann area. We focus on new play development as a way to allow kids to participate in youth theater culture.

SUMMER CAMPS
Exploring
Our most exciting youth opportunity is our summer camps, which range from 1-2 weeks and encompass different age groups from grades 2-12. These camps are taught by members of our staff and high school interns and give students unique theater opportunities. It is our goal to open a dialogue between our staff and students to improve the way theater education functions as a whole.
DAY CAMPS
Creating
We are now incorporating day camps into our schedule to give students an easy way to be part of our troupe! These camps take place throughout the year and follow different themes related to theater. These can be themes such as improv, dance and movement, and more! Check out our schedule of events to find out when the next day camp is!
CLASSES
Learning
Our 2023 list of educational theater classes has been released! Our classes cover a wide variety of theatrical topics and are taught by Half Act staff and visiting guest artists. These are open to all ages and cost just $10 to attend! Visit our Events page to find out more!
