Our staff is a dedicated team of young artists who all specialize in different areas of theatre. We're happy to meet you, and we hope to see you at camp!
BRENNA JONES (SHE/HER/HERS)
Co-Founder, Artistic Director
I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in drama and communication design. I act, direct, and produce theatre in the St. Louis region, and I am the theatre teacher at the St. Louis Priory School. The next production I am directing is The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at WashU!

I am a graduate of Cottey College, where I received my degree in fine arts and theater. Alongside my work at Half Act, I am working toward a degree in counseling psychology, and I currently work as an LGBTQ Adult Mental Health Caseworker!
JUSTICE KIDERLEN

Managing Director, Adjunct Staff
I have been with Half Act since it was created, and I get to work with all of our awesome high school interns! In addition to my work here, I also work for the First Bank Call Center, and I have two cats named Princess and Mouse.
CHARLIE SCHUTT

Production Assistant
I am attending Webster University and studying Film TV and Video Production. In addition to my work at Half Act, I frequently perform in the Hermann area, having appeared in The Sound of Music; Pushing Daffodils; Little Shop of Horrors; Our Town; and Saturday Night Live (to name a few).
LILIYN WOZNIAK (SHE/HER/HERS)
Early Childhood Specialist
I have been a member of Half Act since it began, first performing in the shows and now as a staff member. I'm currently attending St. Charles Community College for Early Childhood Education.
COLIN JONES

Lighting/Sound Designer & Master Electrician
I am a practicing technical designer in the Hermann area! Along with designing for Half Act, I also work for a traveling magician and at Kugelblitz Arcade. I am currently attending ECC studying theatre.
BLUE TREW

Costume Designer
I am a student at Stephens College. I love getting to plan fun and colorful costumes. I also work on Stage Managing for my theatre outside of Half Act.
ADARIANA SAMUELSON
(SHE/HER/HERS)
Stage Manager
I am currently a student at State Technical College of Missouri double majoring in their EET program. At State Tech, I work at a daycare taking care of toddlers and infants. I have been in theatre since my freshman year of high school, where I started my career on deck and stage crew. I moved to lights & sound shortly after, and eventually became stage manager at Hermann High school and have loved it ever since.
JOVIE GARNER
Stage Manager
I am close to finishing my associates in theatre at ECC. While there, I have worked with the creative team on productions whether I was stage managing or assisting with tech work. I helped with Beauty and the Beast, Percy Jackson, and Night of the Living Dead to name a few. I’ve also acted while there in Night of the Living Dead and a couple of student showcases. I’ve been doing theatre since 7th grade and I hope to continue that in the future especially with the upcoming shows. I’m very happy to return to Half Act as a staff member and work with some amazing people.

Internship Opportunities
For our youth camps, we offer internships to local high school juniors and seniors interested in theater. Each internship lasts one to two weeks and provides unique work experience in various theater tech fields.
